Yep, that's my real name. To say that my dad is creative is an understatement, but I have him to thank for my love of music! He raised me on everything from Gospel Quartets to Led Zeppelin and everything in between(including his own music). My mom also comes from a family of musicians, so it is truly in my blood if you will. I first started plugging our mic into the 8 track player (yes, I said 8 track player) at home, when I was about 9 years old...good times...who knew it would stick.

My story is short and sweet...ok probably wont be short and not really sweet more like tangy. Actually it is pretty cool. Got into radio a lifetime ago...moved to Knoxville 10 years ago(hard to believe it has been that long)...but I have got nothing but great things to say about my time here. I have been given so many great opportunities to work with people that have given me the chance to learn and grow and do things in this business I never thought possible...to all THANK YOU.
What I'm Listening To These Days...
One of the great perks of working at a radio station has always been the free stuff you get. Most notably music...Right now I'm pretty much addicted to the Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Live Anthology we recently recieved here at i105.
Its a four disc set of live tracks spanning the entire Heartbreakers timeline. Really awesome stuff. Now I know most people aren't gonna rush off to the record store and throw down over $100 for a boxed set based on my recommendation. So here's a few highlights you might wanna check out on i-tunes.
1. Straight Into Darkness (highly underrated Petty song)
2. Breakdown (awesome 9 minute long version of this classic complete with audience sing-a-long)
3. I Won't Back Down (great stripped down live acoustic version)
4. Learning To Fly (another stripped down acoustic version...live at Bonnaroo feat. Stevie Nicks)
That's all for now...Thanks for checking out my blog and you can hit me feedback at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
